John Hester
became the 20th Yankee to make it to the big leagues when he was called up by
the Arizona Diamondbacks on 08/28/09. Hester played his high school ball
at Marist, and then collegiately at Stanford. Hester becomes the 4th Major
League player off of the 2002 Yankee team. He makes the 15th former Yankee
to play in the big leagues this season.
