Yankees News and Notes

The Yanks finished up their off season workouts and now look forward to the high school season and then the summer.  We have posted our schedule, although not complete.  We will return to the Louisville tournament again, as well as Vandy.  And once again our Yankee Classic will be the best invitational in America, with most of the best 17-18 year old teams in the country competing in the round robin format.

Brian Farmer, former Yankee pitcher, will take over as pitching coach this season.  Brian pitched at Ole Miss and in the Atlanta Braves organization, and has produced and coached many successful players and teams in younger age groups at Chastain Park over the years.  He brings a lot of knowledge and ability to communicate with pitchers along with him, and we're excited about him joining our staff.
